This policy explains what personal information Jamike Ugochukwu Okoroji ("Monsieur Jam", "I", "me") collects through this website and through French classes, and how it is used.

What I collect

• Information you send through the booking form: your name, email address, French level, class type, exam goal, preferred schedule, time zone and any message you write.
• Emails and messages you send me directly.
• If you use the French journal: your name, email address, level and the entries you write. Entries are private to you unless you choose to share one with me.
• For enrolled students: lesson notes, progress records and homework you share during classes.

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

How I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange classes.
• To plan lessons and track your progress.
• To send information about your classes, such as schedule changes.

I do not sell, rent or share your information with anyone for marketing.

Where it is stored

Journal accounts and entries are stored with Supabase, a database provider. Booking form submissions are stored by Netlify, the company that hosts this website, and forwarded to my email. Emails are stored in my email account. These providers may store data in the United States or other countries.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiry details for up to 12 months if you do not book classes, and student records for as long as you take classes plus 2 years, unless you ask me to delete them sooner.

Your choices

You can ask me at any time to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. Write to jamikeokoroji@gmail.com and I will respond within 30 days.

Children

If a student is under 18, a parent or guardian should complete the booking form and will be the main contact.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
